Turns out that one of my other favorite radio shows, This American Life, also has a podcast. I had only heard the show a couple times before discovering this, but it's amazing -- really great storytelling, really great themes for shows. I may have developed a huge crush on the host, Ira Glass. This is him:

I've also added Fresh Air, Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me, and Whadya Know? to the list. Work is way more fun, now.

NPR in Ohio on Saturday is the best thing going. Inventive, different, less-than-mainstream, genuine entertainment.

NPR...oh, dear heart, now you have PLANTED AND WATERED the temptation to start the download fest, though dinner waits (and wilts, as it were) and the 3-year-old prunes up nicely in the tub...ah, but though I can't do it NOW I will do it SOON. I love-love-love all those shows, and I had heard they had podcasts but just hadn't thought of it yet. *happy sigh* :)
